Ear, Nose and Throat Services/Head and Neck Surgery

University Hospital offers expertise in ear, nose and throat (ENT) care, as well as head and neck surgery. This year, U.S. News & World Report ranked University Hospital’s ENT program as one of the best ENT programs in the United States. Our ENT services are known for their high standards of medical practice and patient satisfaction. Housed in the newly-renovated treatment center at the Barrett Cancer Center, the ENT division features six treatment rooms, state-of-the-art audiology lab and a professional voice therapy treatment room.   • Fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) diagnostic testing

Residency Program

The Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program at University Hospital is a five-year clinical rotation. During the five years of specialty training, a varied operative experience occurs under direct faculty supervision, with gradually increasing responsibility for the resident-in-training. The residency program offers advanced training in Neurotology/Skull Base Surgery and Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery fellowships. The program is one of only 16 approved programs for advanced training in head and neck oncology. Residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) for comprehensive training in the specialty.
