Patients & Visitors
University of Cincinnati Medical Center welcomes visitors above the age of 14 to visit patients during visiting hours. If you are visiting before surgery, arrive at least one hour before the surgery is scheduled and check in at the nursing station on the patient’s floor. Lounges for visitors are located on most inpatient floors.
Health department infection control regulations prohibit children under the age of 14 on patient floors. Exceptions may be provided on an individual basis by contacting the head nurse of the patient’s nursing unit. Children waiting in the lobby must be under the supervision of an adult.
